October's 2009 weather for Seattle brought cool temperatures, sunshine, clouds, and rain after a warm and partly cloudy September. There were three days in October with sunny sky conditions, nine days with partly cloudy sky conditions, and nineteen days with cloudy sky conditions.

Precipitation for the month was over two inches above normal at 5.54 inches compared to the normal 3.19 inches. There were eighteen days in October that had precipitation --- seventeen days with measurable precipitation and one day with a trace of precipitation. The warmest day was October 5 when the temperature reached a high of 66 degrees; the coolest days were October 25 and 27 when the temperature reached a low of 38 degrees.
